“Life without thankfulness is devoid of love and passion. Hope without thankfulness is lacking in fine perception. Faith without thankfulness lacks strength and fortitude.Every virtue divorced from thankfulness is maimed and limps along the spiritual road.”
~ John Henry Jowett ~
What an incredible year! And there is still a month remaining!
As I look back on this year, I could rattle off a list of things for which I am thankful. But for me, I can just bring it all into one category…………….people!
Yep, that’s right! Those living, breathing pillars of protoplasm that walk around on this planet and you happen to bump into from time to time .Father has blessed me with incredible people in my life!
Obviously, numero uno is the one whom I call, My Lovely! My wife is a special one for sure. She completes me and that’s really saying something. Apart from the fact that she is gorgeous, extremely creative and my best friend, she seems to have developed a tolerance and patience to put up with me! For all that she has been and will be, I am very thankful!
For those brothers/sisters that have walked with us on our journey for the past 17 years, I can honestly say that I wouldn’t trade you or our journey for anything. There is nothing that could replace all that you are and all you have added to my life.
All of the “new” connections and relationships in the Kingdom that have emerged over the past couple of years have truly been a blessing and encouragement. The strength I have received from you has been astounding and crucial to opening a new season in our lives!
And, then there are those who have moved on to the next dimension and are no longer with us. Namely, my parents and my father-in-law. The Godly heritage and spiritual inheritance you forged for me is one of the greatest blessings in my life and I’m beginning to see the fullness of those blessings manifest in my life. Thank you, thank you, thank you for blazing the trail, paying the price and investing in your son!
To those of you reading this post and following my blog, your willingness to do so is an incredible blessing and edification. I can only hope that what you read blesses you as much as knowing you are reading it blesses me.
My prayer for you all is that you love and bless those that are most familiar to you because, after all, they are the ones who mean the most to your life. May your Thanksgiving be filled with Father’s presence and love and may His Peace abound in your celebration with family and friends!
Keep your peace!
