Just a Thought

You will be frustrated or complacent in your walk until you realize that Father is after a transformative change in your nature long before He is interested in changing circumstances in order to make you comfortable.

Father is not blessing His children to spoil them rotten and give them a sense of entitlement according to the flesh. He is dealing with His children to make them spiritually mature sons and to employ them in accomplishing His Purposes.

Father’s goodness should lead us to and encourage us to live a lifestyle of relentless repentance, viz. not being transformed by the spirit of this age but being transformed by the renewing of our mind.

  1. So the individual who wants to leave his/her spouse doesn’t have a cop out by saying, “I know that God wants me happy”! That I have heard many times. Good word.

  2. To piggy back on your thought; more than all of the things we that we hold (dear and close) and claim as our own, is the thought that we own something (especially a righteous opinion). Since the Father owns everything in his Kingdom, we are simply to be stewards of His gifts (including thoughts) while walking in His domain. Holding onto our thoughts creates the strongholds that prevents the entrance of His thoughts, but prolongs the process required to bring us to repentance. In Him, we live and breathe and have our being. This necessitates our receiving His next, active thought(s) concerning our being.

What are your thoughts?
