THOUSANDS OF INSPIRATIONAL STORIES EMERGE AFTER PASTOR DOES THE UNEXPECTED WITH $83,000 IN CHURCH FUNDS

Well, it appears that this particular brother has somewhat of a clue of how funds are to be used. It is no wonder that “thousands of inspirational stories emerge” after the distribution of the funds since such function is how the Church is called to function under the reign of the Kingdom in the New Covenant.

    • Yes, Tony…….imagine! We are seeing it on a small scale across the U.S. aren’t we? May Father haste the day when the Body gets beyond the Americanization of religion and expresses a purer Kingdom representation! Peace, my brother.

      • Some developments have been happening with provision of the Lord for this couple who lost the seven month old twins. Lori’s mother in Virginia is giving them a burial plot. Others who have read your article, Bryon, have got in touch and want to help. I don’t even know what all the need is, but Father does. As Charles Newbold quoted a few years ago, “With God there is no limitation of space, distance, time or finances”. We are the corporate Body with Jesus our head, and the Holy Spirit will continue to lead us.

  1. Yes, Bryon, I can attest to seeing how God has been moving among us, whether it’s a tornado in Oklahoma, or a brother fallen on hard times in Texas, North Carolina, or New York. A brother here in North Carolina was one of those people. Financial help and prayers came from all over the country. There are many needs out there.

This morning my son,Paul, called (just before reading this) and said his friend, Travis Britt and his wife Lori, who have two small children, had just lost twin girls seven months into pregnancy. The umbilical cord had got wrapped around their necks. The hospital was giving him the two infant bodies today. He called my son, because he didn’t know what to do. His plans are to bury the children in their yard, because they are financially strapped. The funeral home told my son that the cheapest thing they had was five hundred dollars for something that is similar to a large size cooler. Paul has offered to build him a wooden vault. I’ve offered to help financially or with the funeral. I John 3:17 says, “But whosoever hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother in need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?”

Are we the church (corporate Body at large) or not? We have our pastors, apostles, prophets, teachers and evangelist. Every joint supplies. What is our head, Jesus, directing us to do?

I’m glad to have brothers and sisters who I can walk relationally with during these times.

  2. Yes, indeed, Jerry. As we see the Body of Christ mature and yield to the direction of the Holy Spirit, we will continue to see them move outside of current structured limitations to be obedient in living and giving!
